Overview

LiveNation never had an official mobile app, so I designed a digital experience from scratch to enhance the relationship between users and live music.

The project introduces new ways to enjoy music, including a subscription system and interest-based navigation, simplifying access to events and strengthening the bond between audiences and artists.

To ensure consistency and scalability, I developed a dedicated design system, optimising the UI for a dynamic, high-traffic app.

Features

LiveSync

The app is built around a fully personalised experience. From first login, users can register via email or services like Google, Apple, or Facebook, and connect music streaming accounts (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music) and location access.

These connections allow the app to recommend live events and artists based on actual musical tastes and daily habits, suggesting nearby concerts for a more relevant, immersive, and personalised experience.

LiveStream Pass

For those who love live music but can't always attend in person, I designed a subscription system that makes concerts accessible anywhere. The three levels — Daily Beat Pass, Weekly Vibe Pass, and Monthly Groove Pass — offer live streaming access, real-time interaction through dedicated chat, and on-demand replays to relive concerts anytime.

Process

Colours

I defined the primary colour to reflect the app’s brand identity, and the secondary colour to complement it. The accent colour highlights key actions, while green communicates success messages and red signals errors or warnings.

Font

I chose Montserrat as the main font and created all necessary text styles to ensure typographic consistency across the entire interface.

Components

I created components in a modular way to ensure consistency and scalability. Each element was organised with variants and Boolean values, optimising usability and maintenance.
